These are my favorite make-up items that I use daily for a simple look. Start with the Dior Backstage Primer, then follow up with Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. I add a little contour with Nudestix- a nice creamy stick on one end and a blending brush on the other. For eyes I like Charlotte Tillbury palettes topped with a thin winged liner by NYX and a few coats of black mascara from IT Superhero. Finally- I finish the look with the Charlotte Tillbury liner and Lawless lip gloss.

Christian Dior Backstage Face and Body Primer

Dior Backstage Face & Body Primer is one of my top 6 must-haves! I have tried several makeup primers, but I recently stumbled upon this from a sample I received at Sephora. From the first moment I tried this primer, I was hooked! Not only does it help with flawless makeup application and long-wear, but it’s extremely moisturizing and has a pleasant scent- and the best part is your glowing skin! The price tag is a bit steep at $38 for a primer, but a little goes a long way so I expect this will last for several months even with daily use. Another bonus is you only have to apply once a day since your makeup will stay on that well!

#5 must-have:

Mario Badescu lip mask is my #5 must have! I am a chapstick addict and can confidently say, I’ve tried just about everything. There are some that I love, but nothing compares to this one! And you don’t have to use it only at night. If I need a little extra moisture, I use it during the day as well. This lip mask really hydrates, plumps and softens overnight. It’s still on when I wake up in the morning, and makes applying lipstick nice and smooth- truly a miracle-worker! This also heals dry cracked lips with regular use. The price point at under $10 also makes it appealing- and the tub lasts for quite a while, even with nightly use.
